The true story Karrah Youngblood risked everything to tell. Wildfire is coming September 10th in Paperback, Hardback and Ebook. Available on Amazon.com, Apple Books, Ingram Spark, and BN.com
This is the true story of what happens when one woman refuses to stay silent—despite every reason to. Wildfire is about how Karrah Youngblood stood up to one of the most documented predators in modern history—and to the systemic injustice that protected him at every turn.
She fought hard to tell this story, and in sharing it, hopes other survivors will find the strength to stand up, too.
Karrah Youngblood is a professional artist, single mom, and unexpected memoirist from Oklahoma whose story is rooted in resilience, grit, and unshakable creative will. Raised on a 100-acre farm, she never set out to write a memoir—but after surviving a violent relationship with a serial predator and watching the justice system look the other way, she took matters into her own hands.
In 2016, she and another survivor blanketed his hometown with warning flyers, igniting a chain reaction that led to a defamation lawsuit and a gag order that unlawfully silenced her for 441 days—while her abuser continued to harm other women. She never backed down. Instead, she fought to reclaim her voice—and her right to speak the truth.
Her viral artwork has been featured by NPR, TMZ, Comic-Con, and the Tulsa World. Her personal story is the focus of the true crime podcast Panic Button: Season 2 – Operation Wildfire.
Wildfire is the creation she’s most proud of—because it’s the story she risked everything to tell.
