About Karrah

Karrah Youngblood is a creative powerhouse with a story rooted in resilience and triumph. Raised on a 100-acre farm in rural Oklahoma, Karrah's journey from small-town life to owning her own graphic design firm, Karrah Youngblood Graphic Design, has been anything but ordinary.

In 2015, Karrah survived a relationship with Jim Luman, a man who beat, raped, and plotted her death. After her complaints, along with those of other victims, were dismissed by law enforcement, Karrah took matters into her own hands. In 2016, she teamed up with another survivor and posted fliers across Luman's hometown, warning others of the serial predator in their midst. Facing a $300,000 defamation lawsuit and a gag order that silenced her for 441 days, Karrah never wavered. With the help of friends and a First Amendment lawyer, she eventually had her gag order lifted, reclaiming her voice and her right to speak the truth.

Through all of this, Karrah found solace and strength in her art. No matter how much pain she endured, she discovered that her ability to create could never be taken from her. Pumpkin carving became a symbol of her resilience, a craft she had honed since childhood. What began as a family tradition evolved into a professional passion, winning her national recognition, including TMZ.com's pumpkin carving contest. She’s carved for Comic-Con, creating designs for icons like William Shatner and Sebastian Stan, and her work has been shared by the likes of Pee Wee Herman and George Takei.
