    Each template uses three distinct carving techniques:

    • White areas: Cut all the way through the pumpkin.
    • Gray areas: Scrape the surface of the pumpkin (don’t cut all the way through).
    • Black areas: Leave untouched for contrast.

    To get the best results, here are the tools I recommend:

    • A wood gouge or a sharp tool for scraping the skin off the pumpkin.
    • Any carving knife from the kits you can find at Walmart.
    • A thumb tack to transfer the stencil to the pumpkin.
    • Tape to hold the stencil in place while you carve.
    • For lighting, I use a clamp light from Walmart with the aluminum casing and clamp removed. An energy-saving bulb works best since it doesn’t get hot.

    Yes! The templates are available in two sizes:

    • 8.5" x 11" for standard home printers.
    • 8" x 10" for photo labs or higher-quality prints.

    I recommend using a clamp light with the aluminum casing and clamp removed, leaving just the socket and cord. Energy-saving bulbs are ideal because they don’t produce heat, which keeps your pumpkin safe from burning or drying out.

    After you receive your download email, simply download the PDF, print it out, tape it to your pumpkin, use a thumb tack to transfer the design, and start carving!

    Yes, I do! My calendar is filling up quickly, so the rates for custom pumpkins are:

    • $500 for pumpkins that need to be shipped.
    • $350 for local pickups.
